The tools allow organizations to easily migrate between platforms and reduce time, cost and risk.

These connector modules include full content migration and mapping functionality, and are used in conjunction with Impact Systems’ Q-Transfer™ Intelligent Content Transport Software.

The “Designed for EMC Documentum” accreditation is a mark of quality and value that demonstrates that Q-Transfer™ has successfully met a comprehensive set of EMC Documentum criteria for good design and quality integration.

Q-Transfer™ Export for SharePoint 2003 (SPS) and 2007 (MOSS)

• Export from Windows SharePoint Services or SharePoint Server
• Export to either your Q-Transfer staging area (for use with other connectors) or to a file system
• Export content from all the out-of-the-box SharePoint WebParts, including custom columns and content types
• Export a subset of content using filters (created via Query Builder wizard)
• Migration reports are created in several formats
• Migrated content authenticity protected with checksums

Q-Transfer™ Import for SharePoint 2007 (MOSS)

• Import to Windows SharePoint Services or MS Office SharePoint Server
• Bulk load content from a file system with included file system adapter
• Import content to all out-of-the-box SharePoint WebParts, including custom columns and content types
• Transformation of column values between data types, as appropriate
• Validation of column values prior to import, based on target column definitions
• Migrate documents and all their related parts, such as versions, metadata, and related documents
• Import a subset of exported documents (e.g., based on document type)
• Import non-native content, such as Documentum renditions, branch versions, virtual documents
• Map to content types/document libraries, columns, folders
• Rollback/Undo import feature
