Customers
can quickly and reliably bulk load unique content to a new enterprise content
management system with Q-Transfer™
December 7,
2007, Montchanin, DE, USA - Impact Systems Inc., (www.impactinfosys.com), a leading
provider of enterprise content management migration
tools and services,
today announced their Q-Transfer™ content and metadata migration software has
received the “Designed for EMC® Documentum®” accreditation, a mark of quality
and value that customers can depend on in enterprise applications. The “Designed for EMC Documentum”
accreditation demonstrates that Q-Transfer™ has successfully met a
comprehensive set of criteria for good design and quality integration.
Q-Transfer™ allows the
migration of content, metadata, associated relationships, signature pages,
audit trails, change requests and notices via a repeatable and verifiable
process. In addition, Q-Transfer™ provides the ability to quickly and
reliably bulk load content and metadata from legacy paper records, electronic file systems or other content
repositories. Q-Transfer™ is easy-to-use, flexible and configurable to start
post processing content via workflow.
Impact Systems
also recently received the prestigious EMC accreditation for its Q-Config™
configuration management and migration software. Combined, Q-Config™ and
Q-Transfer™ provide the comprehensive capability to significantly reduce the
time and cost of deploying Compliance-in-a-Box systems or migrating content, metadata and complex relational content
rules from an older version to a new version.
“EMC’s position as the leader in enterprise
content management is strengthened by the support of great partners such as Impact
Systems,” said Randy Ziegler, Director of Developer Programs at EMC
Corporation. “Partners like Impact Systems build solutions and applications on
the Documentum platform because customers have demonstrated their trust in EMC
Documentum to manage their most critical and strategic information. The
accreditation program is another way EMC earns that trust while supporting
innovative offerings like Q-Transfer™.”
“Q-Transfer™ Version: 2.0 is
a unique, leading-edge modular offering that allows customers to reduce the
time and cost of migrating large amounts of content, metadata and related
content plus governing rules in a verifiable, repeatable manner, resulting in a
rapid migration or deployment,” said Impact Systems CEO Mangesh Honwad. "The
offering’s status as Designed for EMC-accredited demonstrates our commitment to
the Documentum platform and the quality and value of its offering.”
Impact Systems received
design accreditation by joining the Designed for EMC program; a program
designed to help ISVs, VSPs and SIs design, develop and go-to-market with
successful offerings based on the EMC Documentum platform. As a member, Impact
Systems received specialized design consultation and guidance, along with
access to dedicated content management technical resources. Partners can submit
their offerings to be considered for the “Designed for EMC Documentum”
accreditation – which if achieved, signifies to customers that the offering
meets high standards for architectural compliance with Documentum practices and
will provide a reliable integration with less uncertainty for joint customers.
